Pauly Vandenbergh

Indigenous and Multicultural Engagement Manager at AFL

 

A proud member of the Wirangu and Kokatha peoples of South Australia's Far West Coast, Pauly Vandenbergh has dedicated his life to fostering change and creating opportunities for Aboriginal communities.

A former professional basketball player for the Canberra Cannons in the NBL, Pauly transitioned into a trailblazing career in the Australian Football industry. He served as Director of Aboriginal Programs at Port Adelaide Football Club and now works as National Diversity Talent Manager at the AFL, championing inclusion and opportunity for Indigenous and multicultural talent.

Pauly is also a co-founder and director of the Tjindu Foundation, an organisation empowering Aboriginal young people, and runs two Indigenous-owned businesses: Wanna Mar tuna fishing and Munda Wines.

As an influential cultural educator, Pauly promotes pride in identity, language, and country while driving reconciliation through knowledge-sharing and organisational training. His work bridges gaps between cultures, inspiring meaningful change and collaboration across Australia.
