Dean Rosenfield has recently taken the helm as CEO of Nova Systems, marking the start of an exciting new era of leadership for the company. After relocating from London, Dean is leading Nova Systems through a significant growth phase, focusing on expanding the global team, enhancing Australia’s sovereign capability, and delivering complex projects across core markets such as Defence, Essential Services, Government, Special Missions, and Commercial Aerospace.

With over 20 years of experience in the Defence industry, Dean brings a wealth of expertise and a deep connection to Nova Systems, having closely worked with the team in the past. His leadership is poised to drive innovation and growth, particularly in supporting the critically important AUKUS partnership and expanding life-saving mission systems and geospatial software solutions.

Prior to joining Nova, Dean held prominent roles at Saab AB, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, leading global business development and sales. He also led Saab’s operations in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand as Group Managing Director, and has a track record of success in markets across Sweden, Singapore, and beyond.

Dean’s leadership at Nova Systems is set to further diversify the company’s portfolio, drawing on decades of Defence experience to support new sectors like emergency services and space, while also strengthening the sovereign supply chain through partnerships with Australian SMEs.
